Meet Our Carlisle Dental Team
The support staff at Carlisle Family & Cosmetic Dentistry don’t only make your dental experience productive and enjoyable, but they also make it possible. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to provide the exceptional care that has become the standard for the community. Below, you’ll get a chance to learn more about their stories in the dental field and their roles at the dental office. Their hard work, customer service, and expertise is greatly appreciated!
Ellen - Administrative Coordinator
Ellen’s career in dentistry spans more than two decades, with nearly half of that time spent right here at Carlisle Family & Cosmetic Dentistry. She takes great pride in being part of a well-run, dedicated dental team and especially enjoys building lasting relationships with patients and getting to know them over the years.
Throughout her career, Ellen has pursued advanced training in several areas, including customer service, dental insurance, and general practice management. Her experience and knowledge help her provide thoughtful, personalized support.
Outside of the office, Ellen enjoys spending time with her family and especially loves being a grandmother. In her spare time, you’ll often find her scrapbooking, watching baseball, traveling, enjoying a great dinner, taking long walks, or appreciating a beautiful sunrise or sunset. She also makes plenty of time for cuddles with her grandchildren!
Diane - Insurance & Billing Coordinator
Diane is from the Shippensburg area and has been working in general dentistry for almost five years after close to two decades working in the field of oral surgery. She has attended trainings in a wide variety of subjects, including CPR, OSHA, dental insurance, advanced coding, and customer service – this extensive education helps her care for our patients’ insurance and financial needs with total confidence! She really enjoys getting to know each unique person who visits the dental office and also going the extra mile to help them access their deserved benefits.
At home, Diane has a husband named Tim and a son named Dylan. Her favorite things to do in her free time include watching baseball, reading, going to the beach, taking her dogs for walks, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Gwen - Patient Coordinator
Gwen brings more than 40 years of experience in the dental field to Carlisle Family & Cosmetic Dentistry and has been a valued member of our team for the past two years. Over the course of her career, she has completed extensive training in dental assisting, OSHA safety, and CPR. Her wealth of experience and knowledge has given her a deep understanding of dentistry and the many ways a great dental team can make a difference in a patient’s experience.
Gwen especially enjoys the personal side of dentistry—getting to know the people she cares for and helping make their visits comfortable and enjoyable. She brings a warm, friendly presence to the office and loves seeing familiar faces return year after year.
Outside of the office, Gwen enjoys spending time with her husband, their two sons, and three granddaughters. She also runs her own craft business and enjoys exploring thrift stores for unique treasures.
Amy - Dental Hygienist
Amy is a relatively new addition to our dental team, but her overall career in the field spans nearly 25 years! She loves spending time alongside such wonderful coworkers here at Carlisle Family & Cosmetic Dentistry. For her education, she attended Penn College and is also certified in CPR and OSHA.
Originally from Central City, Amy and her husband Devin have two great kids named Trent and Bryn. Outside of work, she spends lots of free time with her family, plays board games, bakes, tackles home improvement projects, scrapbooks, and shops. She’s also a Box Top Coordinator at Crestview Elementary – she designs the bulletin boards and ideas for various contests!
Donna – Dental Hygienist
With an impressive 30+ years of experience under her belt, Donna is an expert at providing exceptional, compassionate, and skillful dental care. She attended the University of Pittsburgh and has undergone additional training in everything from perio to CPR. Throughout the years, her favorite part of her job has always been getting to know each patient and working alongside an incredible team.
When she isn’t with our team, you’ll most likely find Donna with her husband, Joe, and their two kids, Conner and Maggie. She also enjoys playing tennis, baking, and skiing. Here’s an interesting fact about her: she taught dental hygiene at HACC for 18 years!
Makayla - Dental Hygienist
Makayla joined our office in 2025 after graduating from Harrisburg Area Community College. She is currently finishing her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene through Penn College of Technology. Her favorite part of being a dental hygienist is building genuine relationships with her patients and helping them improve their oral health and lives.
Outside of the office, Makayla enjoys spending time with her husband, Jackson, and their dog, Elsie. She also loves traveling, volunteering at her church, and running her small craft business. Here’s an interesting fact about her: she has wanted to work in the dental field since she was 7 years old!
Jeanne - Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Jeanne is originally from Taylor, and she attended Harrisburg Area Community College for her dental education. Today, her career in the field covers over 35 years, with a majority of them spent right here at our dental office! She also regularly pursues continuing education and is certified in CPR and OSHA.
Jeanne is the proud mom of two daughters and the adoring grandmother of six grandkids. When she isn’t busy caring for patients, she enjoys cooking, knitting, gardening, and watching sports – GO COWBOYS!
Lyndsey - Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Lyndsey completed her dental education at Harrisburg Area Community College, and she is certified in CPR and OSHA in addition to keeping up with continuing education on a biannual basis. Today, her career spans over a decade. She really enjoys working alongside such wonderful team members and helping excellent patients too!
Lyndsey's family consists of her husband and two daughters. When she has spare time outside of the dental office, her biggest priorities are spending quality time with loved ones, reading, and watching football. Go Cowboys!
Lena - Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Over the last 17+ years, Lena’s favorite part of her job has been the people. She attended Penn State and Shippensburg for her studies, completing additional training in CPR and OSHA. Plus, she earned her EFDA status at Keystone Tech of Harrisburg.
A Pennsylvania native, Lena has a husband, two children, and three pets. When she isn’t spending time with family, she’s probably doing something to stay active, like running. In fact, she’s finished five marathons!
Andie - Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Andie has been a valued member of our team for years and brings more than nine years of experience in dentistry to our practice. She earned her degree from Harrisburg Area Community College and truly enjoys building meaningful connections with her patients.
For Andie, one of the most rewarding parts of dentistry is getting to know her patients and helping them feel comfortable and cared for. She strives to make a positive difference in each patient’s experience and believes that a genuine connection can make all the difference in their care.
Outside of the office, Andie enjoys cooking and baking, as well as practicing martial arts with her daughter. She feels blessed to be part of our team and looks forward to continuing to care for the wonderful patients who make our practice so special.
